Let's find out. Then, it's into problematic territory when tey take on the questions of female characters in Wes Anderson narratives and race in Isle of Dogs. All Isle of Dogs discussion is saved until the end – if you haven't had a chance to check it out (or aren't planning to), you can still enjoy the first part of the podcast.

Plus what we watched over break!

This week, Katey, Patches David and Da7e are in 2015, the Year of our Time Lord Doctor Emmett Brown and where the **** are our hoverboards and self-fitting jackets in Thriller-ready red? This year there’s an unusual amount of movies coming up designed to pull on the old nostalgia heart-strings (otherwise how do you justify a Point Break remake?). The gang tackles this while also applying fast-acting nostalgia to the things they watched at the tail end of 2014. Some of them deserve your consideration!

Wes Anderson’s Grand Budapest Hotel and God’s Son of God!

This week we travel to the East, from Europe’s Republic of Zubrowka to the promised land of Jerusalem. First, Katey, Patches, and David give an early view of Wes Anderson’s Grand Budapest Hotel, a film that might rank among the director’s best. Then FITWR-regular Jordan Hoffman prays movie-going audiences will avoid Son of God, an adaptation of History Channel’s Bible mini-series that chronicles the life of the the late Jesus F. Christ. Plus, we hijack your lighting round answers on film’s best hijackings.

Take a listen, embed and/or download below; for more from all of us: follow the show (@FITWR), Patches (@misterpatches), David (@davidehrlich or @CriterionCorner) and Katey (@KateyRich) on Twitter.
