With Joanna Robinson from Vanity Fair, Dave Gonzales of Thrillist.com, and Neil Miller from Film School Rejects!
Welcome to another off season tour episode of A STORM OF SPOILERS!
This week, Joanna has been taken down by lack of voice, so heroes Dave and Neil have to step in and step up to do November's Mailbag episode. We have some questions and opinions about the first trailer for Avengers: Infinity War and The DC/CW television universe crossover event Crisis on Earth-X. Then, some random questions, concluding with a question about theme park rides that triggers a rant.

Welcome to another off season tour episode of A STORM OF SPOILERS!
This week, we return once again to the format of an oft-remembered Joanna and Dave podcast called The Thought Bubble where the two talked about comic books and comic book media. Neil and Joanna saw Professor Marston and the Wonder Women, about the unlikely true story around the creator of the character and give that a mini-review before the gang moves on to discuss the multi-media empires of DC and Marvel. On the DC side – the CW shows are back (Supergirl, The Flash, DC's Legends of Tomorrow, and Arrow) and each host has dipped in to check on the status quo. Also – Justice League is right around the corner and we don't know nothing. Then, we break into Marvel with reactions to the Black Panther trailer, a discussion about watching Netflix's Punisher in November and Thor: Ragnarok discussion that is split into NO SPOILER and SPOILER sections.

Welcome to another off season tour episode of A STORM OF SPOILERS!
This week, Da7e, Joanna and Neil are taking off to Central City (or Star City, or National City, or the Waverider) to talk about the CW DC Comic book shows that – this season – are building to an unprecedented four-show crossover. Supergirl has a transition to a new newtork, Arrow is still doing flashbacks for some reason, The Flash is course correcting and Legends of Tomorrow has Da7e as psyched as ever.
ALSO – a ton of Game of Thrones talk this week for the old school players.

This week's closing track:
Hello FITWR listeners, Republic City Dispatch fanatics and Storm of Spoilers/Cast of Kings fantasy nerds, we’re back for more comics discussion!
New comics enthusiast Joanna Robinson of Vanity Fair’s Hollywood and The Station Agents podcast is joined by a guy who just re-read Garth Ennis’ Preacher, Da7e Gonzales of Geek.com and Latino-Review.com
No matter your level of engagement, if you’re interested in comic books and their surrounding pop culture, this show’s for you!
THIS WEEK: Too much has happened in comics and comics related media in the past few weeks that this week’s Thought Bubble comes in two parts!
PART 1 – Much ado about DC Comics. Not only has DC Rebirth #1 rebooted the universe with a twist, but Geoff Johns C.C.O. of the comics has ascended to create DC Films to oversee future film entries. Then, The Flash and Arrow fail to stick their season landings, but that doesn’t mean we’re not in a Golden Age of DC TV with Supergirl jumping to the CW in the fall. Finally, Da7e and Joanna discuss AMC’s Preacher, since Joanna loves the show and Da7e just finished a re-read of the comics.
PART 2 – Kicking things off: did Marvel really just make Steve Rogers a Hydra agent? Then, both Da7e and Joanna have seen X-Men: Apocalypse, undoubtably the oddest installment Bryan Singer has contributed to the franchise. Things they like get overshadowed by things that they don’t and the whole chain of decision making leaves everyone puzzled. Finally, SPOILERS for Thor: Ragnarok, we check in with the new official casting and Da7e applies that to what he thinks he knows.
