The Fighting In The War Room podcast family acknowledges that Star Wars Mania is here to stay now that Disney-purchased Lucasfilm plans to spin the saga and anthology movies out into the foreseeable future. It's time to fight in the galactic war room for the foreseeable future! We'll never see STAR PEACE.
In the fourth Star Wars Special, Joanna Robinson, Neil Miller and Da7e start by digging into the various nuggets cast, crew, novelizations and screenplays have bestowed upon how we view The Force Awakens. Then, after a brief discussion on if Star Wars can overtake Avatar at the global box office (and an aside about HBO's Girls for some reason), the team dig deep into what we know about Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and the Han Solo anthology movie. Each host begrugingly picks an actor off the short list to play Han and Da7e tries to convince the other hosts that this may not be horrible. Finally, Da7e vomits up absolutely everything he's heard about Rogue One, just for good measure.
Then, the conversation devolves into everyone asking specific questions about The Force Awakens with each other. You know, the thing you and your friends have been doing since you saw the movie anyway.

The Fighting In The War Room podcast family acknowledges that Star Wars Mania is here to stay now that Disney-purchased Lucasfilm plans to spin the saga and anthology movies out into the foreseeable future. It's time to fight in the galactic war room.
In the second Star Wars Special, Matt Patches (who has managed to avoid all information about the Force Awakens except that the Millennium Falcon is in it) and Joanna Robinson engage with Da7e on what level of Star Wars minutiae is a step too far. Trivia? Expanded Universe? Then, Katey Rich and Joanna entertain Da7e's R2-D2 theory as a way of talking about how to improve the prequels.
Then – This is the LAST PODCAST RECORDED before everyone sees The Force Awakens! – it's finally time for The Storm of Spoilers crew to apply their Game of Thrones Citadel of Crazytown to Episode VII. No one has actually seen the movie, but everyone has questions. Then, the hosts brainstorm possible titles for Episode VIII.
A Note on SPOILERS: On a scale from Mister Patches (knowing nothing) to Storm of Spoilers (spoiling everything), this episode's final segment TOTAL SPOILAGE POSSIBLE. There will be a GONG SOUND 1 hour and 27 minutes in in to warn you when that the speculation is about to happen.

The Fighting In The War Room podcast family acknowledges that Star Wars Mania is here to stay now that Disney-purchased Lucasfilm plans to spin the saga and anthology movies out into the foreseeable future. It's time to fight in the galactic war room. In the first of our Star Wars specials, Joanna Robinson from Vanity Fair's Hollywood (and the Thought Bubble and Storm of Spoilers podcasts) takes a quiz to recall The Phantom Menace followed by spoiler-phobe Matt Patches' quiz to recall Return of the Jedi. Then, the two lock horns like two sons of Dathomir to debate Patches' theory that The Phantom Menace is a better movie than Return of the Jedi. Finally, Katey stops by to kick Patches out and finally talk freely about The Force Awakens for the first time on a FITWR podcast.
A Note on SPOILERS: On a scale from Mister Patches (knowing nothing) to Storm of Spoilers (spoiling everything), this episode's final segment is in the middle. There will be a GONG SOUND 22 minutes in to warn you when that the speculation is about to happen. The rest of the podcast is spoiler free!
