It’s another Fighting in The War Room Quarter Quell!

We did it, we finally recorded a 500th episode! It’s our third call in show (Episode 300 was a Call-In Show, episode 400 was a call in show, then Katey let us use her Riverside so here’s a new one!).

Take a listen as we listen to you and answer your questions a good decade and a half into doing this thing (without ads as some of you mention)

475 – The Elder Millennial Canon Quell
| 6. June, 2024

What movies define our generation?

It’s another Fighting in The War Room Quarter Quell!

For this edition of a FITWR Quarter Quell, each host brings a movie they think belongs in the “Elder Millennial Canon” of films. After a brief discussion of what that could possibly mean and a clarification that each movie needs at least three “yay” votes to qualify, the hosts jump in on Bring it On, Napoleon Dynamite, Marie Antoinette, and (500) Days of Summer.

Making the hosts watch movies they wouldn’t like on paper

It’s another Fighting in The War Room Quarter Quell!

For this edition of a FITWR Quarter Quell, each host had a movie assigned to them by the three other hosts that “they wouldn’t like on paper” to investigate both how well we all know each other and if we can nudge friends into watching movies whose plot, genre, or themes seemed incongruous with other media they enjoy.

Evaluating Past Dates and Movies

It’s another Fighting in The War Room Quarter Quell!

After a slight delay for a new Ehrlich child, the podcast finally gets around to episode 425 – The Date Quell. Each host has picked a movie that they went on a date to go see, which means personal stories piled on reviews of movies released between 1998 and 2002. Katey has selected Home Fries and has a journal entry to back it up, Da7e relives his potty mouth and making out plots of 1999 with South Park: Bigger Longer and Uncut, Patches scheduled a date to see My Dog Skip at the movie theater across from the mall, and David takes a Christian girlfriend to John Q.
