A GAME OF THRONES PODCAST FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT TO TALK ABOUT SPOILERS

With Joanna Robinson from Vanity Fair, Dave Gonzales from Geek.com and Neil Miller from Film School Rejects!

WARNING

If you’re looking for spoiler-free dissection of the highest caliber, or reading along with Season One of the HBO show, you’re looking for A CAST OF KINGS (click there)

This podcast includes some occasional cursing, because sh*ts getting exciting.

SURPRISE! There have been enough new developments in the production of the upcoming Season Six that we thought we’d drop another podcast talking about it. The Blackfish are on the scene! We know where Jaime is going to pop up again and that poses questions about Sand Snakes from Da7e, we pin-point pretty much where Drogon is going to burn something down and — of course — we all know who has been seen alive and battling in the north.

A GAME OF THRONES PODCAST FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT TO TALK ABOUT SPOILERS

With Joanna Robinson from Vanity Fair, Dave Gonzales from Geek.com and Neil Miller from Film School Rejects!

WARNING

If you’re looking for spoiler-free dissection of the highest caliber, you’re looking for A CAST OF KINGS (click there)

This podcast includes some harsh language and blunt spoiling. But… you’ve already seen Reek horribly tortured and are dead inside anyway.

This week, we don’t go to King’s Landing or Dorne, instead we spend time East and North. What characters get added to the Boneyard this week after a Stony encounter in Valyria swaps in Jorah for a Griff? At the wall, Joanna and Neil try to make Da7e feel better about what Ollie is obviously being used for and we quickly touch on if we’re gonna make it to Oldtown later on down the line. Stannis and his group are leaving the wall and everything that happens at Winterfell is foreign to us, so that begins the big kick-off of this week’s crackpot theories. Where will Stannis meet the Boltons? Who dies where? When should we resume Stoneheart watch?

Follow Neil (@rejects), Joanna (@jowrotethis) and Da7e (@da7e) on Twitter!

The Boneyard (book characters left out entirely):

  • Young Griff/(f)Aegon

  • Griff/Jon Connington

  • Cold Hands

  • Strong Belwas

  • Brown Ben Plumm

  • Osney Kettleblack and his brothers

  • Aryanne Martell

  • Quentyn Martell

  • Arys Oakheart

  • Randyll Tarly (still possible)

  • Val and her baby

  • Donal Noye

  • Edric Storm (condensed with Gendry)

  • Wyman Manderly (and with him, Frey Pies… maybe)

  • Marillion the Bard

  • Patchface (Shireen’s bestie)

  • Long-winded descriptions of food.

At the Gates of the Boneyard (characters discarded by the show whose role is seemingly bigger in the books):

  • Benjen Stark

  • The Ironborn (Victarion, Euron, Balon, Yara)

  • Nymeria the Direwolf (and her pack)

  • Beric and Thoros

  • The Blackfish

A PODCAST FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE ALL CAUGHT UP AND WANT TO TALK ABOUT SPOILERS

With Joanna Robinson from Vanity Fair, Dave Gonzales from Geek.com and Neil Miller from Film School Rejects!

WARNING

If you’re looking for spoiler-free dissection of the highest caliber, you’re looking for A CAST OF KINGS (click there)

This podcast includes some harsh language. But no man-butt. So you’re probably ok.

Joanna, Neil and Da7e finally get to talk about the religions of Westeros as we have our first episode where – for the briefest of moments – everyone we love gets off their Season 3 boats. Arya serves the many-faced God but can’t ditch Needle, Cersei begins to try to wield the High Sparrow against her enemies and HOW HARD WOULD IT HAVE BEEN TO KEEP SER POUNCE?!?! All that plus a discussion of how maybe Sansa isn’t in as much trouble with Ramsey as we might fear and Neil and Joanna tell Da7e who Young Griff is and why he’s probably ready for the Boneyard.

Joanna mentions a re-capper she likes in this episode. You can find those posts here.

Synopsis(es?) have been released for future episodes. That means we can mention them! Those are here.

WARNING

Welcome Back! Joanna, Neil and Da7e are back to talk about Game of Thrones again!  This week, only a few of the people we love get off a boat and we get our first narrative-changing flashback. This flashback was missing something, though, which leads to everyone trying to pronounce “valanqor.” Sansa, Varrick, and Mance are all majorly off-book and there isn’t a Greyjoy in sight. Cersei’s religious troubles start in a box on the way to the Sept (where nothing on the show can be interpreted from the book correctly, I guess), Tyrion is boxed on his way to Pentos, Jon Snow and Melisandre discuss Jon’s virginity in a box, Sansa is in a carriage (box) with Littlefinger, the dragons are sort of in a box (with magical collars of expanding metal) – Boxes!

Also: Which kind of Truther are you? Is Mance really alive? Is Lady Stoneheart still on the horizon? Cold Hands won’t die? ARE THERE PEOPLE WHO WANT A KINGSMOOT?
