| 16. October, 2015

Hulk-Thor

A podcast about Comics Pop Culture!

Hello FITWR listeners, Republic City Dispatch fanatics and Storm of Spoilers/Cast of Kings fantasy nerds, we’re back for more comics discussion!

New comics enthusiast Joanna Robinson of Vanity Fair’s Hollywood and The Station Agents podcast is joined by a guy who doesn’t get to talk about Max Mercury this week,  Da7e Gonzales of Geek.com,  Latino-Review.com and Forbes.com.

No matter your level of engagement, if you’re interested in comic books and their surrounding pop culture, this show’s for you!

THIS WEEK: We still have to postpone discussing this year’s superhero TV in depth because so much has been happening! Jo and Da7e cover all the new Marvel movie news from Ant-Man and the Wasp to the Hulk in Thor 3 to Inhumans! Then, Da7e wants to remind everyone that X-Men TV series have been in the works for awhile and Da7e tries to make Jo feel better about Captain Marvel getting pushed back.

A podcast about Comics Pop Culture!

Hello FITWR listeners, Republic City Dispatch fanatics and Storm of Spoilers/Cast of Kings fantasy nerds, we’re back for more comics discussion!

New comics enthusiast Joanna Robinson of Vanity Fair’s Hollywood and The Station Agents podcast is joined by a guy who totally knows why dead characters in Secret Wars also show up in Ultimate End,  Da7e Gonzales of Geek.com,  Latino-Review.com and Forbes.com, to answer YOUR comic book questions.

No matter your level of engagement, if you’re interested in comic books and their surrounding pop culture, this show’s for you!

The lost versions of Ant-Man, Fantastic Four and studio-run blockbusters

Katey, Patches, David and Da7e form their own Fantastic Four once again to talk about "shadow movies" or films that have been passed off during production or tampered with by the studio. That way we can talk Edgar Wright's scars on Peyton Reed's Ant-Man or Fox's dirty work with Josh Trank's Fantastic Four, but we can also mention documentaries like Lost Soul and The Death of Superman Lives: What Happened? Also, a mini segment about everyone's favorite movie costume that also told some story and a tidbit where David makes Da7e defend True Detective Season 2.

Follow the show (@FITWR), Katey (@kateyrich)  Patches (@misterpatches), Da7e (@da7e) and David (@davidehrlich or @CriterionCorner).

What happened to 2015's superhero bomb?

In a special review episode, Da7e and Patches convene to discuss the absolute mess that is 20th Century Fox's newest take on The Fantastic Four. Both agree the movie isn't good, but Da7e attempts to talk his way through what happened while Patches gauges just how much fun – if any – is truly had.
