A podcast about Comics Pop Culture!

Hello FITWR listeners, Republic City Dispatch fanatics and Storm of Spoilers/Cast of Kings fantasy nerds, we’re back for more comics discussion!

New comics enthusiast Joanna Robinson of Vanity Fair’s Hollywood and The Station Agents podcast is joined by a guy who always buys his new illegal guns off Turk,  Da7e Gonzales of Geek.com and  Latino-Review.com

No matter your level of engagement, if you’re interested in comic books and their surrounding pop culture, this show’s for you!

THIS WEEK: He of Film School Rejects and Storm of Spoilers co-host –  Neil Miller joins Da7e and Joanna to discuss Daredevil‘s second 13-episode season on Netflix. At the time we recorded this episode, we were about 24 hours from the whole season being released, so we’ve only seen 7 of the 13 total episodes of season two. FIRST, Joanna wants to know how psyched Da7e was about seeing a MCU Spider-Man in the trailer for Captain America: Civil War, then the rest of the episode is all about Daredevil Season 2!

Then, Neil and Joanna are fresh back from SXSW (some had to travel more than others) and have seen the first episode of AMC’s Preacher. They report back and…things are good!

The first section of the podcast talks about the new characters played by Jon Bernthal and Elodie Yung. Yes, this show delivers versions of The Punisher and Elektra that are unique to the Marvel Studios world and might be working much better than they ever did at other studios. Then, in a spoiler section, Da7e goes way out there with Daredevil lore and stuff we didn’t get to see (like what’s in those last 6 episodes?!?!?!). All the comic-book Daredevil talk (like speculation on The Hand) is all in the second section.

SPOILERS START AT 40 minutes 36 seconds, and they’ll take a beating until you break your hands.

There’s a new Suicide Squad trailer, the first look at Wonder Woman footage, Batman V. Superman info about villains and cameos and Flash, Arrow, Gotham and Supergirl! A podcast about Comics Pop Culture!

Hello FITWR listeners, Republic City Dispatch fanatics and Storm of Spoilers/Cast of Kings fantasy nerds, we’re back for more comics discussion!

New comics enthusiast Joanna Robinson of Vanity Fair’s Hollywood and The Station Agents podcast is joined by a guy who may have learned some facts about Daredevil Season 2 this week,  Da7e Gonzales of Geek.com,  Latino-Review.com and Forbes.com, to answer YOUR comic book questions.

No matter your level of engagement, if you’re interested in comic books and their surrounding pop culture, this show’s for you!

THIS WEEK: Joanna was at D23 and therefore has seen more Captain America: Civil War and Doctor Strange footage than anyone else. Mockingbird gets her own ABC spin-off series for some reason, we debate if Gotham Season 2 will be worth watching, Ronda Rousey should NOT be Captain Marvel and if death a resurrection cheapens those storylines in comics.

A new podcast about Comics Pop Culture!

Spider-Man and Carol Danvers

Spider-Man and Carol Danvers, or how Da7e likes to think of himself.

Hello FITWR listeners, Republic City Dispatch fantatics and Storm of Spoilers/Cast of Kings fantasy nerds, we’re back!

New comics enthusiast Joanna Robinson of Vanity Fair’s Hollywood and The Station Agents podcast is joined by fan-who-lived-through-the-90s Da7e Gonzales of Latino-Review.com and Forbes.com to answer YOUR comic book questions.

The podcast has TWO SECTIONS: “General” and “Advanced.” The first “General” section is for EVERYONE and won’t spoil anything that hasn’t happened on screen in a movie yet nor will Da7e be allowed to explain multiple arcs that might become spoilers. In the latter “Advanced” segment, Da7e is unleashed, this week basically spoiling the origins of the “The Twins” in Avengers: Age of Ultron.

No matter your level of engagement, if your interested in comic books and their surrounding pop culture, this show’s for you!
