(Usually) With Joanna Robinson from Vanity Fair, Dave Gonzales of Thrillist.com, and Neil Miller from Film School Rejects!
Welcome to another off season tour episode of A STORM OF SPOILERS!
This week, we finally manage to assemble all three hosts – because Joanna is able to call in – to discuss Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049. We start with "We've Talked About This Before…" with some amazing eagle based Game of Thrones news and reactions to the Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer. Then – onto the main show – All three rewatched the original Blade Runner in Final or Director's Cut, then they all dig into Blade Runner 2049, directed by Denis Villeneuve. Are these good movies or great movies? Cult classics or masterpieces? Replicants or artificial significant others? Be warned – once we start talking about Blade Runner 2049 we talk about ALL of Blade Runner 2049.
Approximate Timecodes:
20:40 – Blade Runner
38:13 – Blade Runner 2049 SPOILERS!

This week's closing track:
This week, Da7e is out, so Katey, Patches and David convene to discuss if Ryan Gosling has ever been in a good movie – just in case you were wondering how people felt about Blade Runner (this is NOT the Blade Runner 2049 episode either). But before that, a review of The Mountain Between Us and a sobering talk about gun violence in light of the tragedy in Las Vegas.
