And is the new Carly Rae Jepsen all we needed it to be?
David and Da7e and Patches/Said are BROCASTING once again as Katey goes on vacation. Patches happened to be driving this week, which got him wondering if summer music is easier than blockbuster summer film. Then, Da7e smokes a J while Patches and David debate the merits of the Max Landis written American Ultra. Finally, all three guys go through the massive Summer Movie Season of 2015 and wonder just how everything worked so well and if it was all worth it.

THIS WEEK: Joanna was at D23 and therefore has seen more Captain America: Civil War and Doctor Strange footage than anyone else. Mockingbird gets her own ABC spin-off series for some reason, we debate if Gotham Season 2 will be worth watching, Ronda Rousey should NOT be Captain Marvel and if death a resurrection cheapens those storylines in comics.

Can Disney make Lupita Nyong'o happen?
Katey, David and Da7e are down a Patches/Said and instead take some time to reflect on D23 and the the apparent attempt of Disney to increase representation in their films. Then, Katey has some summer movie quote trivia one David is more prepared for than the other. Finally, in a segment three that Patches can't listen to, we use Han Solo and Clouds of Sils Maria as a jumping off point to talk about good performances from aging actors that acknowledge what has come before.
