(It's between two tall buildings)

This week, David, Katey, and Patches teeter on the edge of intelligent and troll-like to review The Walk, the latest spectacle from director Robert Zemeckis. Is it a high-wire act of cinematic proportions or does it stumble and fall? That and answers to our documentary-turned-narrative lightning round question on this week's FITWR review episode.

A podcast about Comics Pop Culture!

Hello FITWR listeners, Republic City Dispatch fanatics and Storm of Spoilers/Cast of Kings fantasy nerds, we’re back for more comics discussion!

New comics enthusiast Joanna Robinson of Vanity Fair’s Hollywood and The Station Agents podcast is joined by a guy who doesn’t get to talk about Max Mercury this week,  Da7e Gonzales of Geek.com,  Latino-Review.com and Forbes.com.

No matter your level of engagement, if you’re interested in comic books and their surrounding pop culture, this show’s for you!

THIS WEEK: It’s the week before the CW airs the second season premiere of The Flash which is goign to include at least two, probably three and possibly four different speedsters from the DC Comics’ lore. Joanna quizzes Da7e on some Flash lore and they both speculate how the TV series is going to adapt some of the odder elements.

And everyone calls their Best Picture shot way too early.

This week, Katey, Patches, David and Da7e are all together although they all haven't watched the same amount of HBO's Project Greenlight. All four of them have at least seen an episode, so they talk about producing a film and representation and if Effie Brown the producer is the best or has room for improvement. Then, David forces everyone to award Best Picture right now, mostly to things they haven't seen. Finally, Robert Zemeckis' The Walk comes out this week and it is one of those experience movies that is going to take you on a 3D journey, this leads the group into a discussion about the future of VR in entertainment. That plus a documentary-based lighting round question!
