Please Note: Da7e suffered from verbal dyslexia during Fighting In The War Room Episode 120 and knows that he said “Casual” every time he meant “Causal.” Rest assured his soul has died 1000 deaths since then and he’s eternally sorry. Thank you for letting us know, you can stop now.
This week, Katey, Patches, Da7e and David are here to debate bad decisions. First, Patches and David saw Adam Sandler’s second Netflix movie The Do-Over with David Spade and…ugh. Then, a thought experiment about making Katey’s unborn child a baby movie star followed by a long segment three where we debate how much Johnny Depp’s recent allegations of domestic abuse can really hurt his franchise.

If you're looking for spoiler-free dissection of the highest caliber, or reading along with Season One of the HBO show, you're looking for A CAST OF KINGS (click there)
Welcome back to A STORM OF SPOILERS! Sorry for the delay!
This is the Storm of Spoilers episode for Season 6, Episode 6 "Blood of my Blood"
It's another Dragon/Drogon week on Game of Thornes. Before we get to all the polygons, the hosts were happy to see Benjen Stark return as the show version of Coldhands. Coldhands recap: this is probably an adaptation decision, not a novel spoiler. Arya finally earns her Faceless Man burn notice like we expected she would and Sam didn't spend as much time at Horn Hill as we expected. What's in store for these characters now cast into the chaos narrative? Also, Kings Landing is having some separation of church and state problems that have complicated the whole political situation there. Da7e still doesn't like Tommen.

This week's closing track:

Hello FITWR listeners, Republic City Dispatch fanatics and Storm of Spoilers/Cast of Kings fantasy nerds, we’re back for more comics discussion!
New comics enthusiast Joanna Robinson of Vanity Fair’s Hollywood and The Station Agents podcast is joined by a guy who just re-read Garth Ennis’ Preacher, Da7e Gonzales of Geek.com and Latino-Review.com
No matter your level of engagement, if you’re interested in comic books and their surrounding pop culture, this show’s for you!
THIS WEEK: Too much has happened in comics and comics related media in the past few weeks that this week’s Thought Bubble comes in two parts!
PART 1 – Much ado about DC Comics. Not only has DC Rebirth #1 rebooted the universe with a twist, but Geoff Johns C.C.O. of the comics has ascended to create DC Films to oversee future film entries. Then, The Flash and Arrow fail to stick their season landings, but that doesn’t mean we’re not in a Golden Age of DC TV with Supergirl jumping to the CW in the fall. Finally, Da7e and Joanna discuss AMC’s Preacher, since Joanna loves the show and Da7e just finished a re-read of the comics.
PART 2 – Kicking things off: did Marvel really just make Steve Rogers a Hydra agent? Then, both Da7e and Joanna have seen X-Men: Apocalypse, undoubtably the oddest installment Bryan Singer has contributed to the franchise. Things they like get overshadowed by things that they don’t and the whole chain of decision making leaves everyone puzzled. Finally, SPOILERS for Thor: Ragnarok, we check in with the new official casting and Da7e applies that to what he thinks he knows.
