Cersei paid all her debts, Bran finally got to see more Tower of Joy flashes, the Starks are in the North and Arya has returned to Westeros. So much has changed from how we thought things would go and so much seems different from the books. The show and the books are totally different things now.

Each Host Brings A Film That Influenced Who They Are
It’s our third Quell as Fighting in The War Room, and we’re getting all nostalgic again. Katey, Da7e, David and Patches have each brought a film that they wanted to be when they grew up. Katey always wanted to be Marty McFly from Back to the Future, Da7e wishes he were Penny Marshall’s Big, David sees himself in James L. Brooks’ Broadcast News and Patches, perhaps predictably, chooses earnest love-of-teaching-music movie Mr. Holland’s Opus.

Newly married Katey sees marriage in Neighbors, Da7e brings Raiders of the Lost Ark as a metaphor for his move to Colorado, David’s turned 30 and chooses 13 Going on 30 and Patches ends the podcast on <sarcasm> a lighter note </sarcasm> by contemplating mortality with Synecdoche NY.
