Aren&#8217;t the &#8220;basic&#8221; 4 bending elements just states of matter? Earth = Solid, Water = Liquid, Air = Gas, Fire = Plasma?  Also, doesn&#8217;t it make more sense if Amon is just blocking the 6th(?) chakra, the one on the forehead, and not the actual taking-away-bending, with the huge light show?
