But this is true and I imagine it will be one of the first things we hear on the panel Friday (BTW &#8211; I&rsquo;m (Da7e) is going to be live-blogging that panel at <a href=\"http:\/\/cinemablend.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">CINEMABLEND.COM<\/a> &#8211; I&rsquo;ll link you)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"600\" src=\"http:\/\/33.media.tumblr.com\/tumblr_m710nfGujD1rzu3vbo1_500.gif\" width=\"500\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The word has come from an <a href=\"http:\/\/insidetv.ew.com\/2012\/07\/11\/legend-of-korra-second-season\/\" target=\"_blank\">Entertainment Weekly<\/a> exclusive:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Nickelodeon has picked up a second season of the animated adventure series<em>The Legend of Korra<\/em>, EW has learned. After averaging 3.8 million viewers for Season 1, Book 1, which concluded June 23, the\u00a0<em>Avatar: The Last Airbender<\/em>\u00a0sequel received an order for 26 more episodes (which presumably will be divided into two parts called Books 3 and 4.)<\/p>\n<p>The show is already set to return in 2013 with the premiere of Season 1, Book 2 (which consists of 14 episodes, finishing off the original 26-episode order)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>We hadn&rsquo;t heard that Book 1 and Book 2 were a 26 episode series split into two &ldquo;books&rdquo; because it was initially just the shorter mini-series.<\/p>\n<p>BUT &#8211; this does mean there are 12 episodes of Korra down and THERE ARE STILL 40 episodes to go!<\/p>\n<p>Great news for Korra fans&hellip;<\/p>\n<p>&hellip; So I guess the podcast just got picked up for 3 more years? Who wants to grow old together?
