Whoa \u2014 where to begin?? There’s a ton of footage packed into this first look trailer and I couldn’t be more excited. The animation is sharper and more dynamic, there are tons of new faces joining the cast (including a few from ATLA), and hints at a plot that could jump back and forth in time. What do you see? :42 – Gal with eye on her forehead. You tell me. What are we looking at?
:47 – Crazy-eyed lady who can waterbend. Instantly thought Azula, but this is a waterbender….
:57 – Is this kid a new airbender or just a follower of the Airbender way? He has a staff…\u00a0
:59 – I swear this looks like a young Lin Beifong. More flashbacks this season?
1:02 – Yes, Asami action!
1:10 – Jinora, back aestral projecting herself in the spirit world. But a very creepy spirit world.\u00a0
1:13 – Earth Kingdom evil lady who kind of looks like President Raiko’s gal pal (but isn’t, I know)
1:18 – ZUKO. Da7e just sighed a breath of relief.
1:23 – Another airbender, this time in Earth Kingdom-looking threads.
1:24 – A Dune-like sandworm. I am so ready for more Korra fantasy (rather than tech-heavy Republic City)\u00a0
1:27 – The evil waterbender returns. She really looks like Azula. Offspring? 1:30 – Jinora falling \u2014 noooo!
1:34 – Korra with a whale spirit, recalling Star Trek IV
1:40 – Zuko in action. Most excellent.
1:45 Evil Waterbending lady leading some nega-Team Avatar. Terrifying.\u00a0<\/p>\n
