Where&rsquo;s my police station and Toph statue?&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>So, instead of waiting around, we&rsquo;re going to take it in a separate and *possibly spoilerish* (though this is all theory until it happens).<\/p>\n<p>Tumblr user\u00a0<a class=\"tumblr_blog\" href=\"http:\/\/masterarrowhead.tumblr.com\/post\/22381633643\/hey-guys-remember-this-post-that-bryan-posted-on\" target=\"_blank\">masterarrowhead<\/a>\u00a0claims to know some plot points of Korra Book 2. We&rsquo;re not 100% sold on this, but it&rsquo;s an interesting theory that comes with it&rsquo;s own visuals.<\/p>\n<p>BE AWARE: If this guy\/girl\/person\/Fire Ferret is right, he&rsquo;s\/she&rsquo;s\/it&rsquo;s about to spoil some stuff from Korra Book One. But we don&rsquo;t know if he&rsquo;s\/she&rsquo;s\/it&rsquo;s right.<\/p>\n<h2>Right now: <strong>THIS IS THEORY NOT CANON (I mean, Howl as a character?) THEORY! THEORY! NOT CANON! BUT FUN THEORY BASED ON REAL PHOTOS.<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Take it away, masterarrowhead!<\/p>\n<p>-Da7e-<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Hey guys!<\/p>\n<p>Remember <a href=\"http:\/\/bryankonietzko.tumblr.com\/post\/19786148943\/ian-graham-and-i-have-worked-together-for-many\" target=\"_blank\">this post<\/a> that Bryan posted on Tumblr back in March?<\/p>\n<p>It includes a storyboard of Korra and Mako.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i.imgur.com\/QtqDg.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u2026Or so some of us assumed.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i.imgur.com\/Oajzl.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s take a closer look then shall we?<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i.imgur.com\/gsatv.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I remember seeing this for the first time and being all \u201cThat kind of looks like Bolin except he\u2019s looking a bit too lanky and his arms much too thin.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But taking a closer look at it now?<\/p>\n<p>Check out that expression. That is definitely more of a Bolin expression than Mako expression. Although that boy does tend to surprise people with the expressions he has in store haha. So the expression can\u2019t really be that valid of a point.<\/p>\n<p>But then look again.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i.imgur.com\/ubJna.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s that turtleduck butt hair in the back.<\/p>\n<p>However the front still looks more like Mako\u2019s\u2014 WAIT!\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s pull up some comparisons.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i.imgur.com\/32d08.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/i.imgur.com\/ltI2k.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Wait a minute.<\/p>\n<p>Mako has a baby turtleduck butt too.<\/p>\n<p>But the one in the picture is bigger than his.<\/p>\n<p>And yet the front of the hair\u2026.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/41.media.tumblr.com\/tumblr_m1pk43EsT91rqq1iao1_250.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There can only be <em>one<\/em> explanation.<\/p>\n<p>I remember my friend <a href=\"http:\/\/appingo.tumblr.com\" target=\"_blank\">Ash<\/a> who used to work as a developer on The Legend of Korra as a \u00a0script writer telling me about a brain storm session the team had about Book 2. It was just a small tossing around of ideas because they were still hard at work for Book 1 and I didn\u2019t actually think they\u2019d go through with the idea.<\/p>\n<p>But this right here.<\/p>\n<p>This seemingly insignificant storyboard holds the key to the plot of Book 2.<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t read any further if you don\u2019t want to be spoiled.<\/p>\n<p>\u2026<\/p>\n<p>..<\/p>\n<p>.<\/p>\n<p>Okay. Book 2 was discussed to be more about Korra\u2019s journey with discovering more of the spiritual side of being the Avatar <em>i<\/em><em>ncluding<\/em>\u00a0more journeys to the Spirit World.<\/p>\n<p>What the real twist to the story is that the Spirit named Koh has a secret ability that was never revealed in the original series.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The ability to combine two souls, people as well.<\/p>\n<p>Korra has to reenter the Spirit World\u00a0and find the fractures of Bolin and Mako\u2019s souls\u00a0\u00a0that weren\u2019t part of them being combined, in order\u00a0to make them into their own beings \u00a0once again.<\/p>\n<p>It all makes so much sense now with Janet Varney\u2019s seemingly innocent tweet about Mako and Bolin <em>combined<\/em> would be the perfect man.<\/p>\n<p><em>She knows<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>And if my suspicions are correct then this means that the Asami sub-plot will also come into play. Yes. There\u2019s also a sub-plot about finding Asami in the Spirit World since she\u00a0sacrificed herself for firebending at the end of Book 1 and became the sun.<\/p>\n<p>This also means that with only Korra and Makolin left as the members of the Krew there is need for the adding of Howl, the White Lotus guard, as an official member of Team Avatar. Howl factors into this based on the fact that since Mako and Bolin are now combined, there\u00a0needs to be a third member of the team. There will probably be some awkward sexual tension going on knowing Bryke and the other writers, but Howl will generally fill in a Sokka role,\u00a0slight comedic relief with a surprising amount of knowledge up his sleeve. At least that\u2019s what I remember Ash saying he would be if they went with this route for Book 2.<\/p>\n<p>And after all that chaos with spirit magic and combined souls and suns\u2026<\/p>\n<p>I bet you\u2019re all wondering what ship will be end-game.<\/p>\n<p>Who am I kidding?
