I was re-watching some A:TLA this week and was surprised how focused Aang is on learning how to be a better Avatar overall. Korra has had much more important things to worry about, arguably, but outside of the doors in Episode 2, we haven’t seen anyone really take time out of the plot to harp on Korra for training.<\/p>\n

If this series is aware that M.Night Ruin-a-lan made the Avatar State more about glowing and less about the fear absolute power instills in those who witness it, I wouldn’t be surprised if we’re saving the Avatar State reveal until much later in the season.<\/p>\n

But, yes, it’s starting to get to the point where you think SOMEONE would mention it to her. Like: “Wow, you seem to have lost to Equalists about 3 times now, maybe you need more training. What about The Avatar State? Didn’t Avatar Aang save the Water Tribe by becoming a Godzilla-sized fish monster? You know what could beat Amon? A Giant sized fish monster.”<\/p>\n
