That’s really just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to 1979, which combines Ben’s ambient sounds, short films, and an interactive web element to build a fascinating mythology. Ben teased 1979 on our “Sounds of Book 2” podcast, but we highly recommend exploring the album’s companion website and picking up the album in digital, vinyl, or projector form. 1979 is its own brand of cool.
