“One thing that I find refreshing about working on Avatar is when the drama kicks up a notch, it’s always cut with a really good sense of humor. And just when you think the series is going to take itself just a little too seriously, there’s a good amount of humor.” Dos Santos says that for the people creating Korra, they attempt to tie this to every aspect of the show’s storytelling, providing that mix of humor and drama as part of the fights, and of course the plots.
