No! I have confirmed with Nickelodeon that the episodes scheduled at Nicktoons are all reruns. Episodes will continue to premiere on Nickelodeon at the regularly scheduled times.
Keep cool, folks. Nick still loves its Korra.

For me, illustrative quality of the spirit world is the highlight of Korra Book 2 trailer. I think the “real world” animation — especially the work on the bike chase — is detailed, fluid, and as kinetic as ever, but man, these above frames are on a whole other level of artistry.
The spirit designs have had a Miyazaki/Spirited Away quality to them. The scenes featuring Wan feel distinct — more storybook, emulating ancient Eastern artwork. My mind jumped to the animation of Isao Takahata (Grave of the Fireflies) and Shoujirou Nishimi (Tekkonkinkreet).
What do they recall for you? Where do they take your imagination?

Listen to Two Exclusive Clips From the Legend of Korra Soundtrack
Was happy to bring the Korra love to New York Magazine’s Vulture. Head over there to hear samples from the music and an interview with composer Jeremy Zuckerman of The Track Team.
Plus: They’re having a soundtrack signing at Comic-Con! I am super jealous if you’re going to be there.

Interview: A Chat With ‘Legend of Korra’ Art Director and Co-Exec Producer Joaquim Dos Santos
“One thing that I find refreshing about working on Avatar is when the drama kicks up a notch, it’s always cut with a really good sense of humor. And just when you think the series is going to take itself just a little too seriously, there’s a good amount of humor.” Dos Santos says that for the people creating Korra, they attempt to tie this to every aspect of the show’s storytelling, providing that mix of humor and drama as part of the fights, and of course the plots. And for him, this is how the show is able to reach all audiences the way it does.“
