That’s a good place to possibly end Korra Book Four. Or at some point between here and there discussing the idea of the Avatar. Either time in this world keeps moving beyond the Industrial Revolution and gets to the Computer Age with bending in tact or everything gets upended.
At this point, it would make sense if Book Four took it on, because the I can’t imagine that story being told without some serious discussion about how the world’s non-benders are extremely disadvantaged. Or – maybe – the Avatar line will end because Korra sends something out of balance…
You know what? Typing that, I’m going to go with that crazy theory: The Avatar line won’t end, but Korra has gone about getting there wrong. I don’t think we’ve seen a Dark Avatar yet in Korra, but would I accept the existence of a Dark Avatar? Absolutely.
