She also said Aang wouldn’t find great love, and that ended up being her false prediction. Which at least suggests her foretelling of Katara’s death could be wrong.

But, more importantly, I don’t hold any continuity from the first Avatar Book against Korra. It just seems like a tall order for me to assume something that aired in 2005 (and could have been written a few years earlier) can have that much narrative sway over our 2013 Korra.

But: Point taken. Katara could just be a character that shows up once every book to make us all smile. It just seems like something’s up with Aang’s bloodline.
