Would it really be so terrible for Asami to have equalist sympathies? Would it make her a bad person? Personally, I think she could be an excellent representation of the appeal that Amon’s movement holds for non-benders, even those who disagree with his tactics. If Asami does hold these views, it could lend more complexity to the equalists while deepening her character and explaining that definite air of mystery she has– without stapling an unambiguous “bad guy” hat to her sexy hair. ~inkasrain
