I wouldn’t say “Dumb” because there are certainly dumber theme songs out there. I mean, I love the show itself, but have you heard the theme song for Avengers: Earth’s Mightest Heroes?

Ewww. 

The Legend of Korra opening isn’t as dynamic as the first time through, but it’s a 12 episode miniseries, so I’m cutting it some slack. Not to mention that for a show that has Earth, Fire, Air and Water cartoon effects…well, it could have been worse.

I’ve had this conversation with people who are really into to different TV before: “What makes a good theme?”

My theory? If you can be humming it and someone else you don’t know can recognize it and connect with you on the share expereince d of watching the show, it’s a worhty theme song.
