Welcome back to A STORM OF SPOILERS!

This is the Storm of Spoilers episode for Season 6, Episode 7 "The Broken Man"

The North is reminded, but what the North remembers is that Robb royally screwed things up for the Starks in Westeros. This week, your three intrepid hosts try to make sense out of "The Broken Man," an episode that has book spoilers but also sort of doesn't. Jo and Neil tell Da7e how the Siege of Riverrun is going to play differently now that it's been relocated in time, everyone tries to put a good spin on Sansa's actions and REALLY REALLY interesting prospects for death in King's Landing. Also, Lyanna Mormont is the greatest and that just needs to be mentioned. Brother Ray, what say you?

Welcome back to A STORM OF SPOILERS! Sorry for the delay!

This is the Storm of Spoilers episode for Season 6, Episode 6 "Blood of my Blood"

It's another Dragon/Drogon week on Game of Thornes. Before we get to all the polygons, the hosts were happy to see Benjen Stark return as the show version of Coldhands. Coldhands recap: this is probably an adaptation decision, not a novel spoiler. Arya finally earns her Faceless Man burn notice like we expected she would and Sam didn't spend as much time at Horn Hill as we expected. What's in store for these characters now cast into the chaos narrative? Also, Kings Landing is having some separation of church and state problems that have complicated the whole political situation there. Da7e still doesn't like Tommen.

Welcome back to A STORM OF SPOILERS!

This is the Storm of Spoilers episode for Season 6, Episode 5 "The Door."

WOW. Okay. So…

Neil, Da7e and Joanna band together to take on this groundbreaking (and heartbreaking) episode of Game of Thrones. Sansa's doing great and Da7e has hope that Littlefinger knows what he's doing. Neil and Joanna try to find hope for people who hope #TarthBane can wrestle their way into canon. Jorah is fine, and it looks like he might be off to travel the world. Where, d'ya'think?

Arya sees a play, a new Red Priestess rattles Varys and Da7e is kind of mad that ALL THAT KINGSMOOT BUILD-UP was for one scene.

All that plus – oh yeah – HODOR.

Welcome back to A STORM OF SPOILERS! Sorry for the delay!

This is the Storm of Spoilers episode for Season 6, Episode 4 “The Book of the Stranger.”

Dany has burned another bunch of dudes who underestimated her, so this week the hosts and occupants of the Citadel of Crazytown try to make sense of why season six is echoing season one when it comes to fireproof Targaryen magic. Da7e, Joanna and Neil spend some time debating what’s up with Meereen and weigh how much we should care going forward (although Dany burning people is awesome). Then: STARKS! They’re in the same place and Jon and Sansa’s reunion, coupled with Tormund and Brienne’s wordless relationship means the North might be the best thing going right now. That, plus Da7e’s usual assurances that Littlefinger might know what he’s doing and trying to untangle what’s going to happen in King’s Landing next week.
