Plus Your Suggestions For A 90s Movie That Should Be A TV Show.

This week, Katey and Patches go one step further by uploading their consciousnesses directly into the iTunes feed. It’s the only way to properly review Transcendence, the Johnny Depp-in-a-computer thriller from Christopher Nolan’s longtime DP, Wally Pfister. Is the movie downloading at 100 Mbps or stuck on the pinwheel of death? We click on every folder on Transcendence’s hard drive, even the password protected spoiler section (because Katey has a burning question and she’s looking for your answers). All this and your answers to our lightning round question on which ’90s movie deserves a TV show treatment a la Fargo.

Take a listen, embed and/or download below; for more from all of us: follow the show (@FITWR), Patches (@misterpatches) and Katey (@KateyRich) on Twitter.

Plus RICH WEDDING COUNTDOWN and Rick and Morty!

This week, Katey, Patches, Da7e and David realize Katey’s wedding is upon us and decide to talk a few Marriage Movies, starting with 1940’s The Philadelphia Story. Then, Da7e makes a quick monologue encouraging you to catch Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty (he seriously thinks it’s the best show currently airing).  FINALLY, Griffin Newman, hot off his newest appearance as “Rick the Intern” in Ivan Reitman’s Draft Day  joins us for a segment about Kevin Costner’s band, how Jennifer Garner smells and what part he might be playing in Star Wars: Episode VII. All that plus THE MOST IMPORTANT LIGHTNING ROUND QUESTION OF THE YEAR.

Covering Under The Skin, Rio 2, Joe, Draft Day and Only Lovers Left Alone

This week, Katey is out and Da7e is in, joining Review regulars Matt and David as they do everything in their power to not talk about The Raid 2 expanding. That’s right, this week’s review segment is obsessed with the multiple layers of Jonathan Glazer lyrically cryptic Under The Skin. Then, it’s a catch-all of other things you could see this weekend, with Patches and David talking NFL drama in  Draft Day, Patches and Da7e on David Gordon Green’s Joe, David on Jim Jarmusch’s Only Lovers Left Alone, then Patches warns all against Rio 2. All that, plus YOUR favorite unconventional horror villains!

Plus each host’s Nic Cage impression!

This week, Katey, Patches, Da7e and David take on this exact moment in the cultural landscape in three distinct ways: First, Da7e has seen and enjoyed Captain America: The Winter Soldier but gets very confused once he starts drawing parallels to the reviled Iron Man 2. Also, Patches is convinced that Fox’s Cosmos is aggressively drawing a line against Creationism while Da7e suggests it’s time to take a stand against religion in science-based programming. Can Katey and David unlock the antlers of these sparring bucks? Also, in celebration of this week’s Joe, each podcast host choses a Nicolas Cage line and delivers it in their best Cage impression and in recognition of Oculus, a lighting round question about unique horror villains.
