| 11. July, 2014

REVIEW_GRAPHIC

This week, one of us is a real Koba.

It’s all monkey business this week, with Katey, David, Patches, and Dave taking on The Sequel to the Reboot of the Planet of the Apes. Andy Serkis returns as the performance captured primate Caeser, this time under the eye of Matt Reeves (Cloverfield, Let Me In). Does the follow-up tread new ground or does it simply ape the first movie? That and your answers to our Boyhood-themed lightning round question on this week’s episode. Gorilla!

With Special Guest Jordan Hoffman!

This week, Patches recruits Daily News Critic Jordan Hoffman for a trio of movie reviews. First, the two jump in the backseat of the road trip comedy Tammy — one of the weirdest studio summer movies in recent memory. After that, Patches has a close encounter of the Earth to Echo kind and Hoffman performs an exorcism on Scott Derrickson’s Deliver Us from Evil. Is there anything worth seeing this Fourth of July weekend? Find out on this week’s Fighting in the War Room review episode.
