| 10. August, 2015

What happened to 2015's superhero bomb?

In a special review episode, Da7e and Patches convene to discuss the absolute mess that is 20th Century Fox's newest take on The Fantastic Four. Both agree the movie isn't good, but Da7e attempts to talk his way through what happened while Patches gauges just how much fun – if any – is truly had.

Mission-Impossible-Rogue-Nation

This podcast will self destruct in 42 minutes and 15 seconds

This week, Patches, Katey, and David accept the impossible mission of reviewing Tom Cruise's fifth Mission: Impossible installment, Rogue Nation. Was it a rabbit's foot or is it desperate need of a face (mask) lift? Then, Katey and David head off for Wally World with a brief review of the Vacation review. Then, answers to a lightning round question that's too hard to explain.

REVIEW – Pixels, or whatever
| 24. July, 2015

Kevin James is an illiterate US President, just to set the mood.

There's a new Adam Sandler movie out and it's about video games. The aliens that pretend to be video games probably don't win the day, but can Pixels survive Patches, David and Katey giving it an actual critical reckoning?

How was LAST week's review called "Trainwreck" with this movie on the slate?

Get small and stop drinking?

All four hosts are on hand to guide you through this week's releases in the theater (it's summer, we know you're at least considering escaping to the movies). First, David, Katey and Patches throw down about Amy Schumer and Judd Apatow's Trainwreck, for real this time. Then, Da7e speaks up to transition into Ant-Man, a Marvel movie with zero Infinity Stones. Finally, David has seen the Indonesian genocide doc The Look of Silence even though you haven't yet, so he has words of high praise.
