Plus Top Five!

This week, Katey and Patches embark on a spirit journey to reach higher understanding of Wild, the latest film from Dallas Buyers Club director Jean-Marc Vallée. Starring Reese Witherspoon as memoirist Cheryl Strayed, whose real hike across the Pacific Crest Trail is chronicled in an Oscar-friendly new biopic. Is the movie worth the trek or does it trip up along the way? That and thoughts on Chris Rock’s Top Five on this week’s FITWR review episode.

Plus 2014 Gift Guide!

This week, Katey, Patches, David and Da7e are back with some 2014 clean-up activities. First, Patches wants to know what media or narrative experience from 2014 we’d put on our Top Ten lists if we weren’t so strict about the “only movies” rule. Then, each host takes on a good idea for a gift this holiday season in this week’s mini segment. Finally, It’s time to talk Exodus: Gods and Kings. Patches and David have seen Ridley Scott’s latest and it’s bad enough that they drag Katey and Da7e into a conversation about it. That plus 2014’s star-struck throwaway roles!
