Plus: STAR TREK is coming back to sorta-TV

This week, Katey, Patches, David and Da7e ponder the announcement from this Monday that CBS is launching a new Star Trek TV series that will air on broadcast television before all new episodes being banished to a CBS pay for VOD service. This week also saw the conclusion of HBO's Project Greenlight and the premiere of The Leisure Class leading Da7e and David to revisit their comments at the beginning of the series. Finally: the week we see SPECTRE the new James Bond movie which has us all wondering what makes the Bond franchise unique amongst all the film franchises of yesterday and today.

93 – Hello Hotline Bling
| 28. October, 2015

Did Steve Jobs just bomb?

This week, in honor of both Adele's "Hello" and Drake's "Hotline Bling," Katey, David, Patches and Da7e unite to talk about music videos and their purpose in the new audio-visual landscape. Are they a gateway into the narrative film industry or more style over substance and how has this changed since the days of your David Fincher and Spike Jonzes? Also, the gang asks Da7e how he enjoyed the Goosebumps movie considering he read all 62 installments of the original series and David wants to talk about how/why/if Steve Jobs has failed at the box office. That, plus YOU can cast Sandra Bullock in something.
