Plus Indie Spirits and Transparent Returns to Amazon.

This week, the podcasters have lost David to what they can only assume is Carol-related madness. Katey, Patches and Da7e kick off the final month in the Year of Our Time Lord Dr. Emmett Brown by discussing the Independent Spirit Award nominees that came out this week and how they have instilled Da7e with a fear that he hasn't seen enough movies. Then, Katey gives big props to Amazon's second season of Transparent that you can watch this weekend. Finally, the trio talk about the year of 2015 flops inspired by Victor Frankenstein and Jem and the Holograms. Why did so many movies this year not work?

97 – Jessica Jones AKA how to stop David from talking about Carol

With returning guest Joanna Robinson!

This week, Netflix has finally released their second Marvel series of the year, Jessica Jones from showrunner Melissa Rosenberg and star Kristen Ritter. David Ehrlich totally liked it, so we brought in a contrarian to face off against David's unexpected Marvel love: Vanity Fair's Joanna Robinson! Jo sticks around for an episode that is otherwise lightly about the Cate Blanchett movie Carol, considering there's a segment praising Blanchett and another inspired by Carol's score, but the meat here is Jessica Jones.
