This week, we're talking about a re-release again, this time it's the 40th Anniversary 4K Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Katey and Patches gave it a full re-watch while the Daves were concerning themselves with Death Note, the new Netflix movie based on manga and anime. Thanks to some Hellboy casting news this week, the gang briefly touches on whitewashing in blockbusters before moving on to a round of end-of-summer trivia, hosted by Matt Patches.

This week, Katey is travelling back from watching the American solar eclipse of 2017, so Patches, Da7e, and David hold court for two film-based segments. First, Steven Soderbergh is back with Logan Lucky, but it did not do well and was advertised in a new way. Then, after Katey bops in to talk eclipse, the three guys dig into Terminator 2: Judgement Day, which is getting a 3D re-release.
