This week, everyone is back – including Michelle Said, wife of Patches (@splendourific), who comes on the podcast to tell Katey and Da7e how great Eighth Grade (the Bo Burnham movie) is. Then, David stumps for Madeline's Madeline, out in limited release this week. Finally, recent events surround James Gunn's tweets and his directing job and Alex Jones' scrubbing from Facebook and Spotify have all the hosts wondering what's the state of saying things on social networks.

This week, we tried to be topical and it backfired. In a segment three that is still relevant, but a little off topic, Joanna Robinson joins the FITWR crew to talk about the possibility that the Westworld showrunners were going to leak a video about all the spoilers for season two (they didn't) and how knowing spoilers could be good for a fandom. Before that, Katey went to the Full Frame Documentary Film Festival and reports back, and Patches saw HBO's Paterno this week and has his mini-review.

This week, Patches and Da7e talk about Stranger Things while David chimes in about how he doesn't like the premise and execution but also hasn't watched it. Katey and David talk about The Florida Project, which sounds fantastic. For the third segment, the guys start digging into Thor: Ragnarok even though Katey hasn't seen it, then David calls a friend and phones in Joanna Robinson for the review climax.

This week, Patches went to a Mets game, so he misses David filling in Katey and Da7e on his first trip to Cannes. Then, Da7e did a crazy art experience called Meow Wolf in New Mexico and tries to describe it. Finally, we bring in Kristy Puchko of Nerdist and Comic Book Resources to talk about Wonder Woman and some of its uglier backlash.
