This week, Patches and Da7e have been left alone again, so they invite returning guest Jordan Hoffman back onto the show for a free-form discussion about recasting Gilligan’s Island, Starcrash and torrent ethics, Unfrosted again, cereals (and hot cereals), Blue Angels and Deep Sky in IMAX, solar flares and go bags, Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (with a spoiler section!), how to stay awake in screenings, and bad things in food. Most importantly, they do not cancel the podcast.

472 – Netflix’s Blockbuster Problem, Bluey’s “Surprise,” Shogun

This week, in a slightly later podcast than usual, the whole gang gets together in the War Room. First, Patches and David both saw Rebel Moon: The Scargiver (that’s part two of Rebel Moon) and neither liked it very much, which has us all debating what Netflix’s blockbuster movie strategy is. Then, Bluey had a surprise episode (not so surprising if you listened to Da7e last week) and it’s sparked a very silly online debate amongst Bluey adults. Finally, Katey, Da7e, and David watched all of Shogun (Fox on Hulu on Disney Plus) and touch base to sing its praises with some mild-spoilers peppered in. Watch Shogun!
