This week, Katey, Da7e, and Patches are subject to a brisk Ehrlich discussion about Sundance and what it all means. first, a tidbit about the festival and it’s changing perception. Is the old promise of Sundance preserved in virtual reality filmmaking and Sundance Next? Then, a brief interlude to discuss if the Oscars should be in January, because David can’t believe we’re talking about stuff like American Sniper still after Sundance. Then, David saw Jupiter Ascending at Sundance, and he can’t review it, but wants to talk about how original science fiction films might be doomed.
