This week, Katey, Patches, Da7e and David all unite to talk about movies once again, except for a mini-segment where David breaks his No Ryan Murphy Rule because he has a subway commute, that’s about TV. Girlfight director Karyn Kusama is back with The Invitation, a suspense/horror/dinner-party movie that is out on VOD and in select theaters. The guys have all seen it and weigh in, some more complimentary than others. Then, the Barbershop/Beauty Shop franchise is back with Barbershop: The New Cut and both Patches and David got a chance to check it out.

110 – Knight of Cups, The People Vs. OJ Simpson and another thing, but it isn’t set in L.A., so who cares?
The other thing is Venom.
This week, Patches and David kick things off with a review of Terrence Malik’s newest, Knight of Cups, because there wasn’t a review episode last Friday (Patches was stuck on a train). Then, Katey asks Da7e what’s up with Sony annoucing that they’ve rebooted the solo Venom movie, because she’s pretty sure Deadpool is involved. Then, most everyone is caught up on American Crime Story: The People Vs. OJ Simpson, except David who refuses to watch it, so the other hosts tell him why he’s wrong for Segment 3.

Then, a short mini segment casting a male Marisa Tomei in a fictional gender swapper reboot of My Cousin Vinny before Da7e wants to talk about Making a Murderer and that spins into more Serial and The People Vs. Oj Simpson, Ryan Murphey’s upcoming series. All that plus a lightning round question as always!
