A GAME OF THRONES PODCAST THAT IS TALKING ABOUT OTHER GREAT POP CULTURE DURING THE OFF SEASON

With Joanna Robinson from Vanity Fair, Dave Gonzales from Geek.com and Neil Miller from Film School Rejects!

Welcome to another off season tour episode of A STORM OF SPOILERS!

This week, Joanna and Da7e have to replace Neil who took our Sith Holocron and ran off to Fantastic Fest. Luckily, Fighting in the War Room co-host and Thrillist Senior Entertainment Editor Matt Patches was free to stop by and talk about Star Wars: Rebels Season 3 and how storytelling in the Star Wars Universe has become more complex since 2012 (not that it wasn't complex beofore, as Da7e can ramble about). Also, Rogue One toys come out on September 30th, so a quick refresher of what we've learned from Rogue One toys and Rogue One actors is included.

THIS WEEK'S TIMECODES:

0:00:00 – Intro, Game of Thrones News

0:11:51 – Rebels S3/Rogue One

STAR WARS SPECIAL – Episode 4: Tell That to Kanjiklub

FITWRSWS

What we’ve learned about the universe since The Force Awakens

The Fighting In The War Room podcast family acknowledges that Star Wars Mania is here to stay now that Disney-purchased Lucasfilm plans to spin the saga and anthology movies out into the foreseeable future. It’s time to fight in the galactic war room for the foreseeable future! We’ll never see STAR PEACE.

In the fourth Star Wars Special, Joanna Robinson, Neil Miller and Da7e start by digging into the various nuggets cast, crew, novelizations and screenplays have bestowed upon how we view The Force Awakens. Then, after a brief discussion on if Star Wars can overtake Avatar at the global box office (and an aside about HBO’s Girls for some reason), the team dig deep into what we know about Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and  the Han Solo anthology movie. Each host begrugingly picks an actor off the short list to play Han and Da7e tries to convince the other hosts that this may not be horrible. Finally, Da7e vomits up absolutely everything he’s heard about Rogue One, just for good measure.

Then, the conversation devolves into everyone asking specific  questions about The Force Awakens with each other. You know, the thing you and your friends have been doing since you saw the movie anyway.

I find your lack of SPOILER faith disturbing! – Spoiler discussion starts at 22:40
