Plus a "bad" mini segment

This week, Patches, Joanna, David and Da7e debate how much they can hold Stephen Colbert responsible for apologizing to Donald Trump on the Late Show last year, only to use him as a target for ridicule to boost his ratings now. Then, David wants everyone to pick a single "best living director" for a mini segment, then with Pete's Dragon coming out this week and garnaring some good reviews, we ponder the state of Children's/Family films in a year of talking animal overload.

Plus Bible Movies We’d See.

This week, Da7e takes a much-deserved vacation, leaving Katey, Patches, and David to worry over the government’s interference in their lives. Or maybe those are the lingering feelings left from catching up with Three Days of the Condor and Manchurian Candidate, two conspiracy thrillers reflecting Cold War and present day mentalities. After shaking their paranoia, the trio turns their attention to indie directors’ blockbuster ambitions, a discussion sparked by Darren Aronofsky’s Noah. And in a rare moment of religious positivity, a mini-segment dedicated to Bible stories that deserve an on-screen treatment. All that and a Raid 2-inspired lighting round question, in this week’s Fighting in the War Room.
