Your Comics Questions Answered!

A podcast about Comics Pop Culture!

Hello FITWR listeners, Republic City Dispatch fantatics and Storm of Spoilers/Cast of Kings fantasy nerds, we’re back!

New comics enthusiast Joanna Robinson of Vanity Fair’s Hollywood and The Station Agents podcast is joined by a guy who wishes he was a cibopath,  Da7e Gonzales of Latino-Review.com and Forbes.com, to answer YOUR comic book questions.

The podcast has TWO SECTIONS: “General” and “Advanced.” The first “General” section is for EVERYONE and won’t spoil anything that hasn’t happened on screen in a movie yet nor will Da7e be allowed to explain multiple arcs that might become spoilers.

No matter your level of engagement, if you’re interested in comic books and their surrounding pop culture, this show’s for you!

Plus each host’s Nic Cage impression!

This week, Katey, Patches, Da7e and David take on this exact moment in the cultural landscape in three distinct ways: First, Da7e has seen and enjoyed Captain America: The Winter Soldier but gets very confused once he starts drawing parallels to the reviled Iron Man 2. Also, Patches is convinced that Fox’s Cosmos is aggressively drawing a line against Creationism while Da7e suggests it’s time to take a stand against religion in science-based programming. Can Katey and David unlock the antlers of these sparring bucks? Also, in celebration of this week’s Joe, each podcast host choses a Nicolas Cage line and delivers it in their best Cage impression and in recognition of Oculus, a lighting round question about unique horror villains.

Et tu, Bucky?

This week, Katey, Patches, and David uncover Marvel’s diabolical plot to take over the world. Or churn out half-decent action movies. One or the other. From S.H.I.E.L.D.’s high-tech war room, the FITWR crew dukes it over Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Does the ’70s conspiracy thriller throwback offer a brainier brand of action or is it a regular Dum Dum Dugan? That and your lightning round answers on America’s real movie hero on this week’s episode.
